Blue Wolf’s NVIS Reading light is the perfect light for vehicles that house traditional high-heat Halogen lights. It's an easy drop in replacement for Goodrich reading lights.
This reading light light is designed for interior cabin illumination or for cargo bay lighting. It has a very small form factor, less than 2.53 inches in diameter and only 0.720" thick. This Reading light provides brilliant illumination utilizing 25 low power LEDs. We offer many different color lighting options for area lighting, plus other standard NVIS/NVG options along with standard white.
This 20 LED NVIS light is great for illuminating many places while providing a LED lifespan of over 40,000 hours. No wires are seen with this light as they all pass through the end mounting cap to present a nice, clean, and ergonomic panel mount lighting product. Additionally, this light is specifically designed to provide a "constant level" of light output during any voltage swing from an 18 to 32 Vdc. This light also has overvoltage, transient, and reverse polarity protection to meet harsh MIL-STD-1275 specifications.
This NVIS/NVG led light can be used for instrumentation and cargo bay area lighting with its small 4-inch pod length factor. The NVIS White POD light is specifically designed for illuminating instrumentation used in Night Vision Environments such as aircraft cockpits, tanks, boating vessels, or other applications. The NVIS LED white light produced allows for easy viewing without “greening out” important indication colors such as “reds” and “yellows”.
