Dual Mode Map Light

Blue Wolf’s Dual Mode Map light comes with a standard White (4K 90 CRI)  primary lighting color, and a secondary color choice of NVIS White, NVG Green-A, red, or even blue colors.

The map light has an extra firm 10" standard flexible gooseneck for heavy military use applications, flexible light positioning, and full 0 to 100% dimming control.

The head of the map light is also fully rotatable from 0 to 340 degrees for easy directional light placement.

It is designed for illuminating instrumentation, crew desk areas, or small cargo bay areas such as those found in aircraft, tanks, boating vessels, or other military use applications.

This light is perfect for flexible illumination needs that require dual colors for use with Night Vision Goggle situations. If NVIS White or NVG Green A is chosen, those colors are MIL-STD-3009 NVIS/NVG compatible for led lighting. This light is particularly designed for harsh environments with its extra firm Gooseneck for solid positioning of the light source over a wide temperature range. 
 
In addition to full dimming control with tactile feedback, this light contains over voltage protection, reverse polarity protection, and a "constant light output" during any voltage swing from 18Vdc to 34Vdc for those systems that experience high load demands or voltage fluctuations from the power system.

Made out of durable aluminum construction, the light is ready for any harsh punishment. With full tactile feedback on the dimming knob, this small map light can adjust the light output from 0 to 100%.  Guaranteed, this light will not break if the dimming knob is over-torqued like other plastic models. Being mechanically robust and LED efficient, this light is a great addition to any application needing a 40,000 hour LED life span.
